Gate

The historical site of Dong Da Mound currently has three entrance gates including: Tay Son Street Gate, Gate No. 2 Dang Tien Dong, Gate No. 4 Dang Tien Dong

Tay Son Street Gate:

Consists of a main path, made in a one-floor style with four curved roofs. The top of the ridge is left smooth, the two ends of the roof are two stylized pliers, the four ends of the ridge are dragon leaf images, the roof is covered with scale tiles

The gate is a path leading inside consisting of two parts: the roof and the gate body. The gate body is made of stone with four pillars supporting the wooden structure above. The pillars’ body is moulding to knot in the middle of the body like a drum shape. On both sides of the pillar are two mezzanine walls, on the outside are two small pillars with lotus buds on top, connected to the two sides are mezzanine walls running around the relic grounds.

From the top of the stone pillars is a flat cross section (four identical pillars) where the roof frame is placed. The connection between the four stone pillars are silk planks covered on three sides (the back side is blank), the lower and upper parts are four horizontal, vertical, upper and lower beams tied together. The four corners are the curved eaves support beam.

Gate No. 2 Dang Tien Dong

Opened mainly to welcome visitors when entering, from this gate leads into the space of the historical site: on the right leads to Dong Da Mound, go straight inside to Nghi Mon – Square – Monument of Emperor Quang Trung – Relief and Temple of Emperor Quang Trung

Gate No. 4 Dang Tien Dong

The gate is built on one floor with a path leading inside made of concrete, roof covered with scale tiles, no decorative motifs, mainly with the function of smooth entry and exit to serve visitors when coming to worship at the Temple of Emperor Quang Trung
