Panoramic image: National special relic site Dong Da Mound

Dong Da Mound (Dong Da Cultural Park) is located in Quang Trung Ward, Dong Da District, Hanoi. According to historical records and the recollections of elderly villagers in Thinh Quang, the site of Dong Da Mound was once part of the land of Khuong Thuong village, Quang Duc District, Thuan Thien Prefecture. This area was also one of the battlefields where Emperor Quang Trung decisively defeated the Qing army in the spring of the Year of the Rooster (1789).
