Quang Trung Statue

Quang Trung Statue was built on the land next to the historic Dong Da Mound on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Ngoc Hoi – Dong Da Victory. The statue is carved in the form of a general, with a sword on his back, his head covered with a scarf, his body wearing a shirt with a belt around his waist, and his hand loosely touching the hilt of the sword. The statue is well-proportioned, with a commanding face, and strong arms. The 14.65m high statue is made of reinforced concrete weighing 200 tons, covered with marble, and sprayed with copper flakes. Below the statue’s foot is a bronze incense burner and a large marble stage with runways, grass, and trees.
