Reliefs

On both sides behind the Quang Trung Statue are two reliefs. The relief on the right is 30m long, 4.5m high, and has an area of ​​135m². The relief on the left is 17m long, 4.5m high, and has an area of ​​77.4m².

These are two bas-reliefs depicting the battles of our army and people under the skillful command of Quang Trung, who attacked at lightning speed and destroyed Qing army posts in Ha Hoi, Ngoc Hoi, Khuong Thuong, and Dong Da during the insurgency. The Tay Son army is depicted with images of people, war horses, elephants, bronze muskets, and groups of people.

The back of the two bas-reliefs is covered with marble, inscribed with words of praise for King Quang Trung, diagrams of battles, and jade letters inscribed with four Chinese words “The treasure of destiny”…
