The historical site of Dong Da Mound is the place that marks the most resounding victory of our people in the 18th century – one of the decisive and strategic battles that has gone down in the history of our nation’s struggle to defend the country. The historical site is considered a symbol of victory of the Tay Son insurgents, a testament to the spirit of patriotism, solidarity, courage and the desire for peace of every Vietnamese person. The historical site has been approved by the Prime Minister as a National Special Relic Site in Decision No. 1820/QD-TTg dated December 24, 2018.

Currently, the Historical Site Complex of Dong Da Mound has a total area of ​​over 22,000 m2, including the following items: Gate, Dong Da Mound, Alter-curtain, Quang Trung Monument, Reliefs, Emperor Quang Trung Temple, Quang Trung Museum and auxiliary works creating a space for community cultural and spiritual activities, and at the same time, a place to educate historical traditions for generations of students.

Over the course of history, some of the original items of the historical site have been degraded and need to be repaired. To preserve and promote the historical value of the Historical site and develop the historical site of Dong Da Mound into a high-quality tourist area. Dong Da Cultural Park – the Management Unit of the Dong Da Mound National Special Relic Site would like to send an invitation and express our wish to receive your contributions, sponsorships and donations for the restoration and embellishment of the National Special Relic Site of Dong Da Mound and the Emperor Quang Trung Temple, contributing to building the historical site of Dong Da Mound into a destination for spiritual and cultural tourism, a place to organize cultural events; a red address, a visual school to educate the young generation about traditions in a vivid way, and an attractive tourist destination, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists, worthy of the historical and cultural value of the National Special Relic Site.
